ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril's Manufacturing Automation team is seeking a Staff Robotics Engineer to join our team. The Manufacturing Automation team is responsible for the design, integration, and deployment of automated manufacturing systems across Anduril factories. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to help define what production automation looks like for Anduril at a national scale.

WHAT YOULL DO

Select, design, and integrate industrial robot and cobot applications for manufacturing automation, from initial concept through full production deployment.

• Develop, optimize, and debug robot programs, including motion planning, path planning, safety configurations, and vision-based guidance. • Specify, select, and integrate EOAT, including grippers, sensors, and custom tooling. • Design and manage robot cell layouts, including safety enclosures, work envelopes, and necessary infrastructure. • Implement and verify safety functions (STO, SLS, etc.) in accordance with relevant safety standards. • Develop and execute simulation models to validate robot reach, cycle time, and potential collisions before physical implementation. • Select and integrate robot dresspacks. • Develop and enforce internal standards for robotic system design, programming, safety, and integration. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including controls engineers, mechanical designers, and production staff, to ensure seamless integration of robotic systems.
