Senior Sales Executive - Property Tax

What You'll Do Avalara is looking for a Sales Executive to join a group of dynamic sales professionals. You will increase "net" new sales growth. Operating as part of a motivated team, our Sales Executives sell Avalara's sales tax compliance solutions and working with our partners to promote and increase sales to their customers. Avalara helps make sales tax compliance simple and automatic for businesses of all sizes and our sales team help businesses achieve compliance by delivering comprehensive, automated, cloud-based solutions that are fast, accurate, and easy to use. You will report to the Senior Sales Manager, Property Tax and can work remote.

• Property Tax required * What Your Responsibilities Will Be You will qualify and close sales leads generated by our sales development teams Qualify and close new sales opportunities that are self-generated or through partner relationships You will prospect for new business Manage a small business customer type sales process through qualification, need analysis, product demonstration, negotiation and close Develop a high level of industry knowledge and Avalara's offerings You will develop relationships with Avalara partners and other third parties to increase opportunities Be an active team player both on the sales team and throughout Avalara to help meet our go to market strategy What You'll Need To Be Successful 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience with an emphasis on acquiring new customers Experience handing high velocity and complex selling situations Documented success achieving assigned quotas Consultative, solution-based sales methodology in a high velocity sales model Sales experience with property tax applications. Knowledge in the ERP, E-Commerce, Billing/POS solutions Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects #LI-Remote Pay Range Details The base pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations. Colorado $96,000 - $160,000 annually Washington $96,000 - $175,000 annually California $96,000 - $175,000 annually NYC $105,000 - $175,000 annually The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. Your actual salary/wage may be based on multiple factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, and market and business considerations. This role is eligible for the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or use, depending on the terms of the applicable plan and your role.
