The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales efforts, account management, and business development. This role focuses on generating group, corporate, and/or transient business while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. The Senior Sales Manager plays a key role in achieving hotel revenue goals and supporting overall market share growth.Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Generation & Sales StrategyProactively solicit new business through prospecting, networking, and client outreachManage and grow a portfolio of key accounts to maximize revenue opportunitiesIdentify and pursue group, corporate, and negotiated rate businessParticipate in the development and execution of the hotel's sales and marketing planAchieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goalsAccount ManagementMaintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat businessConduct outside sales calls, site visits, and client presentationsRespond to RFPs, leads, and inquiries in a timely and professional mannerNegotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in alignment with hotel strategyMarket Intelligence & ReportingAnalyze market trends, competitive set activity, and demand patternsUtilize tools such as STR reports, CRM systems, and brand resourcesProvide regular sales activity reports, forecasts, and pipeline updatesCollaboration & LeadershipWork closely with revenue management to optimize pricing and inventory strategiesPartner with operations teams (front office, F&B, events) to ensure successful execution of businessSupport and mentor junior sales team members when applicableParticipate in sales meetings, training, and brand initiativesQualificationsMinimum 3–5 years of hotel sales experience, preferably in a full-service hotelProven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goalsStrong knowledge of group, corporate, and/or transient sales segmentsExperience with CRM systems (e.g., Delphi, Salesforce, or brand-specific systems)Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesPreferred QualificationsExperience with Hilton, Marriott International, or similar brand systemsFamiliarity with STR reports and revenue management conceptsLocal market knowledge and established client relationshipsBenefitsMedical, Dental, VisionVoluntary Life Insurance, Voluntary Long-Term Disability401k PlanPaid Time Off7 Paid HolidaysGo Hilton travel program: 100 nights of discounted travelComplementary Lunch or Dinner every work dayWe're anequal opportunity employer.
