Senior Sales Officer- Franchise Finance

Franchise Finance | National Independent Lessor (remote)

ABOUT THE ROLE

A nationally recognized independent lessor is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Officer (BDO) to drive new business originations within the franchise finance sector. This role is focused on developing and expanding relationships with national and regional Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brands and multi-unit operators.

The ideal candidate brings a strong industry network, proven origination success, and the ability to structure complex middle-market transactions ranging from $5MM to $30MM.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Originate and structure new franchise finance transactions within the QSR and broader franchise sectors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with national and regional franchise brands, multi-unit operators, private equity sponsors, and industry intermediaries.
• Structure $5MM $30MM transactions, including covenant packages and Event of Default (EOD) provisions.
• Conduct initial credit analysis and collaborate with internal credit teams to evaluate risk and drive deal execution.
• Build and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in franchise finance, equipment finance, commercial lending, or structured finance.
• Demonstrated success originating and closing $5MM $30MM transactions.
• Strong working knowledge of credit underwriting, financial statement analysis, covenant structuring, and EOD frameworks.
• Established network within the franchise and QSR sectors.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $150, 000 $200, 000 (commensurate with experience)
• Uncapped commission structure
