    Description

    Overview

The Strategic Account Services (SAS) organization strives to improve the Amazon customer experience by working directly with Selling Partners to enable more selection, reduce defects, and drive growth across their businesses. Our team invents and innovates across technology, processes, and people to enhance the services we offer, improve Selling Partner engagement and satisfaction, and build scalable solutions.

    About the role

You will lead multiple key functions across Sales Operations, with a primary focus on owning strategic partnerships and operational excellence across our Amazon 3P account management teams. You will define and execute the Referral strategy that connects sellers with the right programs at the right time, improving seller satisfaction and sales conversion. You will develop innovative recruitment strategies to re-engage sellers who have left SAS, including designing compelling incentive programs to optimize our lead pool. You will define and implement the rules of engagement across internal Amazon teams to ensure seamless collaboration and optimal seller experience throughout their selling journey. Additionally, you will own the Sales reporting processes (e.g., MBR, Flash), including all aspects of data management, ensuring leadership has accurate, timely insights to drive strategic decisions.

    About You

You thrive in cross-functional environments, building bridges between teams while combining thought leadership, pragmatism, and analytical rigor. You"re passionate about driving change, balancing creative thinking with strong business judgment to identify and solve complex problems. You are a strong verbal communicator and writer, communicating complex concepts clearly and navigating ambiguous situations independently, acting on opportunities without explicit direction. You lead by example, rolling up your sleeves when needed. You"re resilient with a positive attitude, overcoming challenges through creativity, good judgment, and hard work. You exhibit strong integrity, following through on commitments while thinking both strategically and tactically. You"re equally comfortable with long-term planning and day-to-day execution, with an eye for detail that anticipates the unforeseen.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Create and execute comprehensive Referral strategy to connect sellers to appropriate SAS programs
    • Develop recruitment strategies for sellers who previously left SAS, including designing incentive programs and win-back campaigns
    • Define and implement rules of engagement across internal teams to optimize seller recruitment, qualification, and progression through 3P account management services
    • Own Sales MBR and Flash reporting processes, including data collection, validation, analysis, and presentation
    • Establish data quality standards and governance for Sales Operations metrics and reporting
    • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and alignment across Sales, Account Management, Finance, and Leadership teams
    • Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across the sales organization
    • Conduct change management initiatives for new processes, policies, and engagement models
    • Monitor key performance indicators and provide actionable insights to drive business outcomes

    About Company

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

    It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

    Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
