Job Description

LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer for a contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your skills in support of meaningful work for one of our client partners.

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer for a development and modernization effort. The work includes integrating a legacy Oracle-based system with Databricks, then integrating Databricks with Salesforce.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day development, configuration, and administration of Salesforce development and test environments.
• Architect and develop scalable Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce following modern industry standards and best practices.
• Apply object-oriented design principles to maximize code reuse, scalability, and maintainability across complex systems.
• Operate as a key contributor within an Agile Scrum team, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Translate Agile user stories and acceptance criteria into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Partner closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, business analysts, and government stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with sprint goals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers, reviewing code and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate across cross-functional technical teams to integrate new business requirements with existing legacy systems.
• Lead technical design discussions, including detailed data flows, data schemas, and system architecture documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement of Agile development practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management.
• Ensure compliance with federal security and data handling requirements throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
• Support release cycles, managing deployment of new features and updates using Salesforce DevOps tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience)
• Must have a minimum of 7 years of Salesforce development experience, including experience working within Agile Scrum teams
• Must have Salesforce Platform Developer I certification, other Salesforce certifications considered as well
• Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance; active clearance preferred

The base range for this contract position is $75.00 - $100.00 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
