About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to help build and scale the core systems that power our go-to-market engine. This is a highly technical role for someone who loves building well-architected solutions, solving ambiguous platform problems, and working in a fast-paced environment where Salesforce is mission-critical.
You will work closely with our Salesforce Architect and cross-functional partners across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Risk, and Legal. You'll design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions, build integrations with key platforms like Marketo and Snowflake, and continuously improve the performance and reliability of our Salesforce ecosystem.
This is a role where you will have real ownership, technical influence, and a direct impact on how the business operates.
Responsibilities
Salesforce Development & Platform Engineering • Build and maintain scalable solutions in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud • Develop high-quality Apex (synchronous + asynchronous), triggers, and batch jobs with a strong awareness of governor limits • Design and implement robust Lightning Web Components (LWC) using modern best practices • Build declarative automation using Flows where appropriate, balancing maintainability with technical complexity • Apply structured trigger framework patterns and reusable design approaches to keep the codebase scalable • Use Salesforce CLI and terminal-based tooling to support modern development practices • Participate in source-controlled development workflows using Git
Integrations & Data Systems • Design and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs • Support integrations with Marketo and Snowflake, ensuring clean data flows and system reliability • Leverage platform events and event-driven patterns where appropriate • Build secure, well-documented, scalable integration processes that support business growth
DevOps, CI/CD & Deployment • Contribute to CI/CD automation and deployment processes across Salesforce environments • Improve release reliability and reduce manual overhead through automation and best practices • Ensure code quality and stability through testing discipline and deployment rigor
Ownership, Support & Problem Solving • Serve as a technical escalation point for complex Salesforce issues • Troubleshoot system performance problems, automation failures, and integration issues • Own projects end-to-end: requirements design implementation testing deployment iteration • Write clear technical documentation, diagrams, and process flows for long-term maintainability
About You
5+ years of professional Salesforce development experience Strong experience with Apex, triggers, batch jobs, async processing Strong experience building production-grade Lightning Web Components Solid understanding of Salesforce security model, role hierarchy, profiles/permission sets, sharing rules, and validation rules Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external systems and APIs Comfort working in complex org environments with multiple stakeholders and evolving requirements Experience with Git-based workflows and source-driven deployments Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Location Requirement
This position requires regular in-person attendance at one of our two office locations (Richmond, VA or Arlington, VA). Candidates must already be located within a commutable distance to either location, as relocation assistance is not available at this time.
