Role Summary

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise data warehousing and reporting solutions using:
  • SAP HANA Modeling
  • SAP BW/4HANA
  • Smart Data Integration (SDI)
  • ETL
  • ABAP
  • SQL
• Build scalable data models.
• Integrate data from multiple SAP and non-SAP source systems.
• Enable high-performance analytics and reporting for business users.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather reporting, analytics, and data integration requirements from business stakeholders.
• Architect end-to-end SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA solutions.
• Develop and optimize SAP HANA:
  • Calculation Views
  • CDS Views
• Develop SAP BW/4HANA data models including:
  • ADSOs
  • Composite Providers
  • Open ODS Views
• Design and implement SDI/ETL processes.
• Extract, transform, and load data from SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Develop complex SQL queries, procedures, and scripts.
• Perform SQL tuning and data processing optimization.
• Monitor and improve:
  • Query performance
  • Data load efficiency
  • System scalability
• Support reporting tools and dashboards by providing clean and reliable data models.
• Perform:
  • Unit testing
  • Integration testing
  • Data validation
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare:
  • Technical design documents
  • Data flow diagrams
  • Support documentation
• Support BW 7.5 on HANA to BW/4HANA migration.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience in SAP HANA Modeling.
• Expertise in SAP BW/4HANA Modeling.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Smart Data Integration (SDI)
  • ETL processes
• Experience with ABAP.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL.
• Knowledge of SAP BODS.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Data warehousing concepts
  • Data integration
  • Performance tuning
  • Reporting architectures
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Strong understanding of enterprise data models and analytics solutions.

Migration Experience

• Experience migrating SAP BW 7.5 on HANA to SAP BW/4HANA.
• Understanding of migration planning and execution.
• Ability to analyze and optimize existing BW/HANA models during migration.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10–12+ years of experience with:
  • SAP BW/4HANA
  • SAP HANA
  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across different organizational levels.
• Ability to collaborate with:
  • Business stakeholders
  • Technical teams
  • Cross-functional teams
• Pharma or Manufacturing industry experience is highly desired.
