Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience • 10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience. • 5+ years of hands-on SAP IS-U development experience. • Strong understanding of RICEFW concepts. • Hands-on experience with SAP BTP functionality. • Strong SAP BTP UI5 development capability. • 8+ years of overall professional experience. • Experience supporting SAP IS-U applications through go-live, hypercare, and system stabilization. • Experience developing, enhancing, and maintaining custom ABAP code. • Experience building and supporting RICEFW objects, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows. • Experience troubleshooting production issues and managing technical defects through resolution. • Ability to collaborate with functional, integration, Basis, security, and project teams. • Ability to manage multiple critical priorities with minimal supervision. • Knowledge of industry standards and standards organizations such as ITIL, TOGAF, and PMP.

Preferred Skills • Experience with SAP Integration Suite. • Experience with SAP C4C V2. • Utility industry experience supporting customer information systems. • Experience with SAP integrations involving external systems. • Experience with cloud lifecycle automation and operational improvements. • Ability to work with architects and escalation teams to reproduce and resolve issues.

Role Overview Seeking an experienced SAP IS-U/ABAP professional to support application development, enhancements, and production operations. The role focuses on SAP IS-U, custom ABAP development, RICEFW objects, SAP BTP, and UI5 applications. The consultant will troubleshoot production issues, manage technical defects, and support system stabilization while collaborating with functional, integration, Basis, security, architecture, and project teams. The ideal candidate can work independently, communicate effectively with customers and technical teams, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Duties • Support SAP IS-U applications throughout go-live, hypercare, and system stabilization. • Develop, enhance, and maintain custom ABAP code. • Build and support RICEFW objects, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows. • Develop and support SAP BTP and UI5 applications. • Manage and prioritize technical tickets in a fast-paced environment. • Troubleshoot production issues and drive defects through resolution. • Collaborate with functional, integration, Basis, security, and project teams to resolve technical issues. • Support SAP integrations with external systems as needed. • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities. • Build, configure, tune, and implement automation for cloud lifecycle and operational improvements. • Evaluate, develop, implement, optimize, and configure customer cloud environments. • Support web interfaces used by customers to access their cloud environments. • Escalate issues and defects to development, network, or engineering teams as necessary. • Communicate with customers regarding progress, status, and root cause. • Work directly with architects to reproduce and resolve issues. • Maintain proficiency in emerging technologies through self-study and on-the-job training.
