Senior Scheduler I   SUMMARY   Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler I with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.   The Senior Scheduler I will provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities.   RESPONSIBILITIES   * Provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities   * Plan, coordinate, supervise, and direct planning and scheduling activities   * Ensure that corporate planning and schedule stands are implemented and that all project related activities comply   * Provide oversight and supervision of scheduling team   * Coach, mentor, and train field personnel, forepersons, and assistant superintendents   * Establish and nurture teamwork environment   * Ensure crews have resources and support   * Provide work direction and performance evaluations   * Identify hiring needs and participate in hiring, discipline, and dismissal decisions if needed   * Develop leadership potential through appropriate task assignments and career growth opportunities   * Implement Mortenson's Zero Injury Safety Program at project site   * Manage open shop and union issues   * Maintain relationships with all visitors to the site: customers, architects, union representatives, subcontractors, et al.   * Manage site work and logistics efficiently, providing suggestions for improvement   * Other duties as assigned   QUALIFICATIONS   * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field   * Minimum of four years construction experience or equivalent combination of training and experience   * Experience as a project engineer is desirable   * Excellent oral and written communication skills   * Active listening skills and effective communication, open to diverse input and feedback   * Ability to travel may be required based on operating group   * Thorough knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company software   * Thorough knowledge of standard construction practices and project sequencing   * Ability to exercise creativity and mature judgment in solving unprecedented problems on complex projects   * Strong plan and specification reading, review, and interpretation skills   * Basic knowledge of project management, contracts, and buyout   * Working knowledge of 4D visual planning methodologies   * Strong organization and team skills   * Basic knowledge of cost and resource loaded schedules   * Basic knowledge of claims avoidance and resolution techniques   * Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment   * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative to seek innovative solutions   * Results-oriented to ensure delivery of accurate, complete, and timely products and services   A few benefits offered include:   (for Non-Craft and Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week)   * Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverage   * Dental plan   * 401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson match   * Paid time off, holidays, and other paid leaves   * Employer paid Life, ADandD, and disability insurance   * No-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resources   * Tuition reimbursement   * Adoption Assistance   * Gym Membership Discount Program   The base pay range for this role is $102,000 - $137,700 (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chi ago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).   Base pay is...
