We're hiring a Senior or Principal Scientist to join our Biotherapeutics team's collaborative group focused on designing and advancing first-in-class immune-engaging biologics. If you’re a protein engineer who thrives in the lab and wants your work to move swiftly toward patients, this role offers real opportunity, purpose, and scientific challenge.
What You’ll Work On
Design and optimize novel antibody and bispecific formats that power our next-generation immunotherapies
Lead antibody engineering from idea to construct to bench — including expression, purification, and characterization
Improve key attributes like affinity, stability, specificity, and PK using modern tools and data
Drive developability assessments with platforms like SPR, BLI, DSC, DLS, ciEF, and LC-MS
Collaborate across functional teams to support candidate selection and preclinical development
Develop and refine functional assays for biologic characterization
Present findings in a clear, compelling way to multidisciplinary teams
Mentor junior scientists (if interested) and help shape our growing discovery organization
What You Bring
PhD in Biochemistry or a related field and 5+ years of industry experience (or)
MS with 10+ years in antibody engineering roles
Strong foundation in antibody structure–function relationships and biologics drug development
Expertise in protein design, expression, purification, and biophysical characterization
Deep experience with bispecific or multispecific formats and familiarity with T cell engagers
Working knowledge of structure–activity relationships and/or molecular modeling is a plus
Experience with mammalian expression systems (e.g., CHO/HEK), cell-based assays, or phage/yeast display is valuable
Strong communication, data interpretation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Why You’ll Love Working Here
Direct impact: Your ideas and experiments will influence platform design and help shape clinical programs
Cutting-edge science: Work on a truly novel immunotherapy approach in a scientifically rigorous, fast-moving environment
Personal growth: Take on visible, high-impact projects in a startup culture where contributions are recognized and development is supported
