By mining convalescent donor B cell repertoire using single cell culture and screening, we will learn how native humoral responses interact with pathogen. The platform is in early development and required further optimization. The incumbent, under the supervision by Pfizer Scientist, will be involved in the development and optimization of the platform and will develop appropriate assays in further increasing efficiency in identifying specific monoclonal antibodies against various pathogensDevelop and optimize single B cell culture condition and screening protocol for pathogen specific antigensDevelop and optimize single B cell IgG cloning conditionExpress and purify antigen vaccine antigen specific monoclonal antibodiesDevelop assays to further confirm functionality of isolated monoclonal antibodiesQualificationsKnowledge and work experience in the single B cell cultureKnowledge and work experience in human Ig cloning from single B cellKnowledge and work experience in screening and functional assay development for selecting specific monoclonal antibodies in the area of microbiology or virologyWork experience in NGS of Ig repertoireRelevant industrial experience is preferred.BS/MS degree with immunology or biotechnology with a minimum of 4-7 years' of experience in Assay studies
