$100,000 - $130,000 + 8% Annual Bonus

A global specialty chemicals company with nearly a century of innovation is looking for a hands-on scientist ready to take the next step into leadership. This role sits within the New Technology team in R&D, focused on identifying and building breakthrough ideas that will shape the company's long-term future.

You will lead a team of 4 scientists and technicians while driving your own research in advanced materials and next-generation technologies.

What You Will Do

• Lead hands-on research in advanced materials and emerging technologies
• Guide and mentor a small team of scientists and technicians
• Develop new ideas with long-term business impact
• Collaborate across product development, manufacturing, and business teams
• Contribute to global innovation efforts

What You Bring

• Ph.D. in polymer science, materials science, chemistry, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3 to 8 years of industry or applied research experience
• Creative problem-solver with strong technical communication skills
• Genuine interest in mentoring and developing others
• Background in adhesives, coatings, sealants, or polymers a plus
• Track record of innovation through patents, products, or publications a plus

Compensation and Benefits

• $100,000 - $130,000 base salary
• 8% annual bonus
