    Wealth and Advice Solutions Technology (WAS Tech) is an organization within Schwab Technology Services aligned to


    support the technology needs of Wealth and Advice Solutions (WAS) business which is a growth area for Schwab.


    This newly created role will support the future growth of the WAS Tech business. As a seasoned, hands-on Senior


    Scrum Master, you will enable WAS Tech to achieve consistent, predictable, high-quality delivery by implementing


    best practices, tools, metrics, automation frameworks, and provide Agile oversight in the areas of software


    development and testing. You’ll serve as a strong and versatile hands-on scrum master. You will deliver high-quality


    solutions that meet business objectives in a flexible, collaborative, and rapidly changing environment.


    You will play a critical role in supporting key stakeholders across the WAS organization which is focused on high-net


    worth and ultra-high net worth retail investors. Supported business functions span Schwab’s Wealth and Investment


    Solutions including Schwab Wealth Advisory. You will be working with a team of talented and highly motivated


    technologists that strive to make technology a strategic differentiator for Schwab’s WAS business and their clients.


    What you have


    Required Qualifications:


    • 5+ years of professional experience as a Scrum Master in enterprise software development environments


    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), or equivalent Agile certification


    • Demonstrated experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint


    reviews) for development teams of 5-9 members


    • Proven track record of coaching development teams to achieve consistent velocity and meet sprint commitments


    • Experience identifying, tracking, and resolving team impediments and organizational blockers


    • Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOops, or Rally


    • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing,


    and deployment phases


    • Experience working with Product Owners to manage and prioritize product backlogs


    • Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills


    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, product managers, and


    business stakeholders


    • Experience in fast-paced, iterative development environments with changing priorities


    • Knowledge of Agile metrics and reporting (burndown charts, velocity tracking, sprint health metrics)


    • Understanding of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts


    Preferred Qualifications:


    • Advanced Scrum certifications (CSP-SM, PSM II) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification


    • 7+ years of Scrum Master experience with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role


    • Experience in scaled Agile environments (SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale)


    • Background in software development, quality assurance, or technical project management


    • Experience coaching and mentoring junior Scrum Masters or Agile practitioners


    • Financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industry experience


    • Familiarity with multiple Agile frameworks beyond Scrum (Kanban, XP, Lean)


    • Experience with release planning and dependency management across multiple teams


    • Knowledge of technical practices such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated testing


    • Proficiency with collaboration tools like Confluence, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and virtual facilitation platforms


    • Experience facilitating large-scale planning events (PI Planning, quarterly business reviews)


    • Understanding of UX/UI design processes and design thinking methodologies


    • Change management and organizational transformation experience


    • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive team improvements
