Senior Scrum Master

Responsibilities: The Scrum Master Senior must have 7-10 years of experience. The Scrum Master (Chapter Lead) Manager must have 3-5 years experience managing people. This position requires an experienced Scrum Master with a strong understanding and hands-on experience with Agile Methods, including Scrum and preferably IBM's Disciplined Agile Delivery. When engaging with an Agile Scrum Team, the Scrum Master has three overall goals in addition to removing team impediments and facilitating Agile practices. Facilitate the creation of a self-organized, self-managed team that can identify and deliver the work that can be completed in a time-boxed Iteration Training, or support the Agile Coaches training, processes and controls with the intent of becoming the "Coach” of the team once they've reached a maturity level that does not require hands-on coaching. Ensure the project team adheres to the Agile Project controls Minimum of Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Scrum Master (PMI-ACP) required Five or more years of direct experience in one or more aspects of Information Technology (Software design/ development, IT Architecture or other related IT areas) Five or more years of explicit experience as an Agile Scrum Master of an Agile delivery team, preferably in a variety of situations including a large enterprise, a scaled environment and a matrixed organization Effective facilitation skills Effective coaching and mentoring skills Ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous, fast paced environment where priorities shift rapidly Strong problem solving skills and ability to identify win-win solutions Effective influence, collaboration and negotiation skills Hands-on Atlassian tool experience (Jira, Confluence), Mural and Tableau preferred Ability to breakdown complex technology concepts and present to senior leadership Confident analyzing and adjusting team norms using Agile metrics and industry benchmarks Exemplifies servant leadership by leading by example as well as being a champion of the team Creative approach to working in a remote environment Ability to quickly identify anti-patterns and address them appropriately Comfortable navigating difficult conversations and diffusing conflict Preferred Skills: Minimum of Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Scrum Master (PMI-ACP) required Five or more years of direct experience in one or more aspects of Information Technology (Software design/ development, IT Architecture or other related IT areas) Five or more years of explicit experience as an Agile Scrum Master of an Agile delivery team, preferably in a variety of situations including a large enterprise, a scaled environment and a matrixed organization.
