Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Seat Allocation Project Manager for the Tenants Contract, supporting the Air Force Division at the Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate’s Integration and Operations Division (AFRL/RWOC) at EGLIN AFB, FL.

 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 10 years’ relevant experience
  • Active Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required)
  • Experience with seating management software: Basic (use/view) to Intermediate (update, customize, import/export) to Expert (Auotcad, code, etc). Intermediate experience at a minimum
  • Prior AF and/or Department of War (DoW) experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS  

  • Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • TANGO seating software experience is highly preferred
  • Experience on Eglin AFB in other Acquisition-related organizations is highly desired
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management, Management, Acquisition Management, or a similar field is desired
  • At least 3 years of Facility Operations experience
  • At least 5 years of Acquisition Management experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advise and assist with knowledge and experience in the management and allocation of organization workspace assigned to and managed by the AFRL Munitions Directorate. This knowledge will be applied to assisting in workspace management to include working with Directorate facilities personnel, developing, maintaining, and updating reports
  • identifying organizational workspace utilization including personnel assignments as the facilities are renovated and in transitions to new facilities.
  • Maintain the master seating plan. Team with other Contractor personnel and AFRL/RWO to perform duties as required to ensure proper maintenance and appearance of facility.
  • Advise and assist working with Civil Engineering (CE) and contractor support teams as the assistant Facility Managers at multiple locations.
  • Assist with planning major CE repairs and building projects with customers, coordinate with RWO and CE; procures building supplies from vendors, Base supply, or the self-help store.
  • Sustain numerous major building projects simultaneously; assist with writing statements of work, submit project requirements and coordinate with contracting and CE to execute projects.
  • Reconfigure office layouts, coordinate purchase of additional workspace hardware, schedule vendors to install new office layouts and assist with personnel moves as required. 
  • Assist with planning, managing, and evaluating the development of laboratory facility options to house advanced state-of-the-art munition research and development, modeling, simulation, and test capabilities, and the equipment required to integrate components into advanced weapons systems.
  • Assist branch chiefs with formulating infrastructure requirements with the Eglin AFB 96th Civil Engineering Group to enhance directorate research and development plans to support USAF objectives within fiscal and time constraints.
  • Develops cost analyses, programmatic integrated master schedules (IMS), and evaluate technical proposals, designs, and/or reports of current or projected facility development programs.
  • Advice and assist with daily management of laboratory facility development programs to ensure technical, schedule, financial, and contractual objectives are met and meet AFRL, Directorate, and customer needs.
  • Advise and assist in the Infrastructure & facilities branch. Use engineering or scientific knowledge & experience to analyze and evaluate operational effectiveness to ensure the facilities meet established technical goals and objectives.
