Position Summary:

Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Security Assistant providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Special Operations Directorate (AFLCMC/HB).

 

The Air Force Program Executive Office for Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Special Operations (PEO ISR SOF) manages the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of over 200 programs supporting the United States Air Force and allied partners worldwide. This position supports the AWACS (E-3), Wedgetail (E-7), and International Airborne Battle Management Command and Control programs within the AFLCMC/WIW Division.

 

This is a full time position at Tinker AFB, OK.

Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will provide comprehensive personnel, physical, industrial, information, and Special Security Office (SSO) support to the E-7 Program Office. Responsibilities include supporting SCI programs, facility security, access control, classified material management, security investigations, accreditation activities, and Information Protection (IP) initiatives in accordance with DoD, Intelligence Community, and Air Force security requirements.

 

Duties include, but not limited to: 

  • Provide personnel, physical, industrial, information, and Special Security Office (SSO) support for classified programs and facilities.
  • Process security clearances, visit requests, Program Access Requests (PARs), and personnel security actions utilizing DISS, NBIS, and other government systems.
  • Conduct SCI indoctrinations, debriefings, annual reviews, security briefings, and security awareness training.
  • Manage classified material accountability, safeguarding, transmission, storage, destruction, and auditing activities.
  • Support SCIF, SAPF, collateral facility, and open storage area accreditation activities in accordance with ICD 705 and applicable security directives.
  • Conduct facility inspections, self-assessments, Staff Assistance Visits (SAVs), and security program reviews.
  • Assist with security incident inquiries, investigations, reporting, and corrective action recommendations.
  • Maintain access control procedures, badge management, visitor control, and restricted area access programs.
  • Support Information Protection (IP) activities, including personnel security, information security, industrial security, and operations security initiatives.
  • Coordinate foreign travel reporting, security education programs, and compliance activities.
  • Provide guidance and assistance regarding DoD, Air Force, Intelligence Community, and Special Access Program security requirements.
  • Support TEMPEST, construction security, facility accreditation, and physical security documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate with government personnel, contractors, security offices, and external agencies to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Support Chief Information Protection (CIP) personnel and perform additional security-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

 

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Clearance: Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD, OR

    • 15 years of directly related experience, 8 years of which must be in the DoD. 
  • Experience supporting personnel, physical, industrial, and information security programs.
  • Experience administering security programs utilizing DISS and related security management systems.
  • Knowledge of DoD, Air Force, and Intelligence Community security regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience supporting SCI programs, classified facilities, and classified material management.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field

  • Experience supporting Special Access Programs (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), or Intelligence Community environments.
  • Experience supporting SCIF accreditation, ICD 705 requirements, and TEMPEST programs.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based classified systems and secure network environments.
  • Experience supporting Air Force acquisition organizations and program offices.
