Our client is looking for a hands-on DevSecOps Engineer who can bridge the gap between DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and IT Security. This is not a traditional security role—we need someone who has built and supported modern DevOps environments and understands how to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle. This role is on-site in Draper, UT and is a direct hire opportunity.
What You'll Do
- Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
- Implement and maintain SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets scanning, and IaC security tools
- Partner with engineering teams to design secure cloud and application environments
- Strengthen security across Azure DevOps, GitHub, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure
- Build centralized monitoring, logging, alerting, and threat detection capabilities
- Lead vulnerability management efforts including scanning, risk assessment, and remediation tracking
- Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend preventive controls
- Help drive security governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- 5+ years of IT Security experience
- 3+ years of DevOps Engineering experience
- Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and software development environments
- Strong understanding of cloud and infrastructure security principles
- Experience with vulnerability management, remediation, and security incident response
- Hands-on experience with security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA)
Salary: $100k - $150k W2
