Senior Security Officer, 7p-7a

The Senior Security Officer provides for the safety and security of Norton Healthcare properties, patients, employees, and visitors. The role is responsible for supporting the Security Supervisor assisting in the daily operation of his/ her assigned shift and supervising the staff whenever the supervisor is not available. The role responds to emergency situations; patrols assigned areas; escorts and transports patients, maintains records and reports and contributes to the efficient operation of the department. The role supports and monitors Norton Healthcare and departmental goals and initiatives within the department.

Required:

• One year in security, law enforcement or military
• Driver's License

Desired:

• Three years in security, law enforcement or military
• Associate Degree
• Certified Healthcare Security Officer OR Certified Healthcare Security Supervisor Officer
