We are seeking a Senior Security Specialist to support a Department of the Navy (DoN) customer at Indian Head, MD. The Senior Security Specialist will guide organizational protection efforts and oversee both technical and physical safeguarding.
Responsibilities:
- Shape comprehensive security practices that defend personnel, assets, and information across all operational areas.
- Evaluate vulnerabilities, conduct in-depth assessments, and implement corrective measures to reduce exposure.
- Lead responses to security events, investigate incidents thoroughly, and drive actions that prevent recurrence.
- Manage day-to-day security technologies and monitoring functions to maintain continuous situational awareness.
- Oversee compliance activities and personnel vetting programs while coordinating closely with internal teams and external authorities.
