Senior Service ManagerThe Senior Service Manager will be responsible for establishing and leading the transformer service function across the United States. This is a highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to shape strategy, build teams, and create a best-in-class service operation.Lead and develop the transformer service business across the United States.Build, recruit, and manage a growing team of service technicians, coordinators, and field service professionals.Develop service processes, quality standards, and operational procedures to support business growth.Provide technical leadership across transformer testing, maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, and after-sales support activities.Partner closely with sales, project management, engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.Establish the organizational structure and hiring strategy required to support a rapidly expanding service platform.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.A successful Senior Service Manager should have:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; Mechanical Engineering will also be considered.Minimum of 10 years of experience within the transformer industry.Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical service, commissioning, field operations, or after-sales organizations.Strong background in transformer testing, commissioning, quality assurance, manufacturing, or field service operations.Experience working for transformer manufacturers, power equipment providers, utilities, EPC organizations, or related industry sectors.Proven ability to recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing technical teams.Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to build lasting commercial relationships.Established industry network within the transformer and power infrastructure market.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.Ability to travel as required to customer sites across the United States.What's on Offer:Base salary: $160,000 - $185,000.Annual performance bonus.Medical, dental, and retirement benefits.Car allowance.Fully remote opportunity based anywhere in the United States.The chance to join a globally recognized engineering and manufacturing organization during a major growth phase.Significant career advancement opportunities as the U.S. business continues to scale and invest in service capabilities.
