Position Overview

As a Senior Service Technician who provides on-site field service and support to our customers’ equipment at national and international locations, you will utilize a safe, proven, and efficient process to meet customer needs, utilizing skill and knowledge to your highest ability to deliver world-class solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to national/international job site locations, with an expected 75% travel schedule
  • Execute safe service deliveries as part of a team or as an individual when required.
  • Lead small teams and shifts as required
  • Ability to follow work instructions, procedures, and specifications.
  • Connect hoses, fittings, and equipment to customer systems and company equipment
  • Operate company equipment (including but not limited to: oil transfer pumps, filtration, and heating equipment)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve basic issues with service equipment or processes.
  • Visual inspection equipment prior to use
  • Record gauge and LCD readout values on paper or electronic logs.
  • Ability to perform routine and preventative maintenance to company owned equipment
  • Ability to discuss methodologies and processes with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Resolve all customer complaints
  • Responsible for submitting completed paperwork promptly
  • Perform other necessary job-related duties or responsibilities
  • Support company and customer goals with safe, reliable field service performance
  • Work with field service multiple functional representatives (Sales, Customer Service, Safety, etc.) to provide exceptional customer experience
  • Follow company procedures and quality policies
  • Meet regulatory requirements when applicable (OSHA, FMCSA, Customer)

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience:
    • 6 months or more experience in the Industrial Services, Chemical Cleaning, or Oil Flushing service
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for troubleshooting technical issues
    • Ability to work in an industrial setting, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and company provided pumping, heating, and filtering equipment.
    • Strong time-management skills and an ability to stick to a tight schedule
    • Ability to collaborate with others and work well on a team
    • Enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service
    • Excellent communication skills

  • Work Environment Requirements
    • Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory
    • Ability to work in industrial and shipboard environments with exposure to chemicals and lubricants
    • Willingness to travel to project sites including DOD vessels, nuclear and industrial facilities, client locations and industry events, as required.
    • Adherence to strict safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment, as required
    • Adherence to strict cybersecurity protocols, as required  

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting small, weighted objects constantly; 20 pound objects frequently and 25-50 pound objects occasionally

  • Walking: move about inside the office and/or branch facilities, airports, and customer facilities
