Role: Senior ServiceNow Architect - CMDB, Discovery & CSDM

Location: Onsite / Hybrid (Philadelphia or New Jersey)

Duration: Long Term contract

Rate: $80/hr.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Architect with deep hands-on expertise in CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, CSDM, and Enterprise Architecture to lead large-scale ServiceNow transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical architecture skills with business acumen, customer focus, and the ability to influence stakeholders across complex enterprise environments. The role emphasizes CMDB architecture, Discovery, Service Mapping, Governance, Integrations, and customer-facing leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Define and lead enterprise CMDB and CSDM architecture strategies.

Architect and optimize Discovery, Service Mapping, and Application Dependency Mapping solutions.

Establish CMDB governance, IRE, reconciliation, and data quality frameworks.

Design end-to-end service models connecting business services, applications, infrastructure, and network components.

Drive integration strategies using Service Graph, APIs, Integration Hub, ETL, and Import Sets.

Partner with infrastructure, network, cloud, operations, and application teams to improve service visibility and operational excellence.

Provide architectural leadership, technical mentoring, and governance oversight.

Experience using various AI tools & systems for handling & managing large volume of data.

Experience with Network Infrastructure, Security Protocols and Cyber security compliance would be added advantage

Ideal Candidate

A seasoned ServiceNow Architect who can define CMDB strategy, drive Discovery and Service Mapping implementations, align services to CSDM, understand enterprise application and network dependencies, and effectively engage with senior technology and business stakeholders. The candidate should be equally comfortable discussing architecture strategy with leadership and solving complex technical challenges with engineering teams.
