Senior ServiceNow CMDB/CSDM Engineer - 3599092

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior ServiceNow CMDB/CSDM Engineer position! This is a 6 month contract and will be onsite in Buffalo, NY 4 days/week and remote 1 day/week. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow CMDB and CSDM solutions, ensuring alignment with IT service management best practices and organizational strategic objectives
• Architect and maintain complex CMDB/CSDM relationships including Technical Services, Business Services, and Application Portfolio Management (APM) while managing complete service lifecycles
• Integrate external data sources via Integration Hub and REST APIs to establish and maintain single sources of truth across the enterprise technology landscape
• Design, develop, and oversee complex systems analysis and development activities, serving as the principal application designer for major ServiceNow enhancements
• Direct and mentor less experienced team members on development tasks, coordinate project activities, and monitor performance across small to large scope initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Development, Operations, and Technology teams throughout the entire systems development lifecycle from technical analysis to user aceptance testing
• Prepare comprehensive technical and functional specifications, system documentation, and project assessments including task breakdowns, timelines, and resource estimates
• Execute thorough testing protocols, debug complex issues, and evaluate intricate interrelationships among programs, interfacing applications, and platforms

What You'll Need to Have:

• 5+ years of systems analysis and application development experience, with deep expertise in ServiceNow engineering focused on CMDB, CSDM, and APM
• Strong understanding of CMDB/CSDM relationship models including Technical and Business Services, application lifecycles, and service dependencies
• Proven experience integrating external data via ServiceNow Integration Hub and REST APIs to create consolidated data sources
• Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow application framework with demonstrated ability to work on complex projects outside of normal business-as-usual operations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide technical leadership and consulting on strategic information technology initiatives
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences and coordinating between applications teams and business units

Pay Range: $65-70/hr
