    Position: Senior ServiceNow Developer

    Location: Rosslyn, VA,

    Clearance: Secret

    A Senior ServiceNow Developer is a technical lead responsible for designing, configuring, customizing, and integrating enterprise ServiceNow solutions in secure, compliant environments. Experience with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SecOps, HRSD, SPM, and custom scoped applications within FedRAMP and RMF‑aligned platforms preferred.

    Senior developers are expected to own solution architecture, enforce development standards, mentor junior developers, and work closely with Product Owners, ISSOs, and DevSecOps teams to deliver mission‑critical workflows at scale.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Design & Development
    • Build and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and scoped apps
    • Develop business rules, client scripts, UI policies/actions, Flow Designer automations
    • Implement REST/SOAP integrations using IntegrationHub and MID Servers
    • Platform Leadership
    • Lead ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and module deployments
    • Perform code reviews and establish development and security standards
    • Mentor junior and mid‑level developers
    • Federal Compliance
    • Support RMF, FedRAMP, NIST security controls
    • Ensure secure configurations (ACLs, RBAC, data segregation, auditability)
    • Participate in ATO and Continuous ATO activities
    • Agile / SAFe Delivery
    • Execute user stories in Scrum or SAFe Agile Release Trains
    • Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, and platform architects
    • Support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (ATF)

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience
    • 5-7+ years of ServiceNow development
    • Experience in federal environment strongly preferred
    • Technical Skills
    • JavaScript, Glide API, ServiceNow Studio
    • ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog
    • Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, ATF
    • REST/SOAP APIs, data imports, Discovery
    • Certifications (Typically Required)
    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
    • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
    • Additional module certifications (ITOM, SecOps, HRSD, PA) are a plus
    • Clearance
    • Active Secret
