Description
The DC Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will maintain and perform continual service improvements across implemented modules (ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement ServiceNow solutions
Build requested items and tasks using workflows to manage processes and meet business requirements
Design/develop ServiceNow Forms, Tables, and Modules
Design, create, and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client
Scripts, and ACLs (advanced scripting, incl. CMS/Service Portal)
Design, create, and configure Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, and Formatters
Develop Workflow / Flow Design to drive approvals and process lifecycle
Configure and maintain data integrations between ServiceNow and other systems
Create update sets and promote/test through multiple instances into production
Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
Document and maintain functional business requirements, process flows, and use cases
Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, security guidelines, and governance

Qualifications
6+ years hands-on ServiceNow development across the modules listed
6+ years JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs
In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and scripting
Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science, or equivalent experience
