Senior SIAM Design Consultant (Contract)
Remote (within the US) with estimated 50% travel
10–12 month engagement

The Role
We are seeking experienced independent consultants to support complex enterprise environments undergoing significant transformation across service management and vendor operating models.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on designing, implementing, or stabilizing Service Integration and Management (SIAM) frameworks in multi-provider ecosystems. The work is practical and execution-oriented, not theoretical.

You will be working in environments with multiple external partners, high operational complexity, and senior-level stakeholder visibility.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Designing or refining SIAM operating models across multi-vendor environments
• Assessing current-state service delivery and identifying gaps in integration, governance, and accountability
• Leading or supporting SIAM transformations, transitions, or recoveries
• Establishing vendor governance frameworks, performance models, and service accountability structures
• Advising senior stakeholders on service integration strategy and execution
• Producing clear, executive-level deliverables that guide decision-making and implementation

Background We're Looking For

• 10–20 years in IT services, sourcing, or service management environments
• Proven, hands-on experience designing or implementing SIAM models
• Experience working within complex multi-vendor ecosystems (typically 5 or more providers)
• Strong understanding of service lifecycle processes and operational frameworks
• Experience operating in large, enterprise-scale environments with high expectations around delivery and structure

Helpful Experience (Not Required)

• Large-scale sourcing or re-sourcing program involvement
• Exposure to global delivery models and offshore providers
• Experience stabilizing or improving underperforming multi-vendor environments

Engagement Overview

• Independent consultant engagement (not a staff augmentation role)
• Expected to contribute in a client-facing capacity from the start
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a broader delivery team
• Remote with periodic travel as needed

• Not a pure ITIL process management role
• Not a PMO coordination position
• Not suited for candidates without hands-on SIAM transformation experience
• Not environments with a single provider or limited vendor complexity
