Job Details:

Senior SME on delinquent property tax assessment/collection/enforcement, and PM accountable for the engagement. Sets direction, makes technical calls, and is the primary face to County leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the review of Town/County tax assessment and collection processes, and the evaluation of the Tyler solution and Advantage 4.0 migration feasibility.

• Sign off on findings across debtor data, correspondence, call center, payment options, fees, and enforced collection (tax sale/warrants).

• Shape recommendations using government collections best practices; manage project plan, budget, and status reporting.

• Serve as primary client liaison, including in person visits to at least two Towns; approve all deliverables (Visio/Word) and lead the resulting RFP/SOQ.
  

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years in property tax administration, delinquent collections, or government revenue operations.

• 5+ years managing consulting/analysis engagements for government clients (scope, schedule, budget).

• Experience evaluating tax/collections systems (e.g., Tyler) or comparable government financial platforms.

• Strong executive level communication; able to present to County leadership and officials.
  

Preferred:

• PMP or equivalent; prior NY/Suffolk County municipal tax experience; RFP/SOQ drafting experience.
