Job Description: Seeking an experienced Senior Software Analyst to support enterprise justice system initiatives through business analysis, requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and SDLC participation. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in business and functional analysis, SQL querying, SharePoint documentation, software testing, and stakeholder collaboration. This role requires working closely with business users, developers, project teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements, document business rules, develop use cases, support testing efforts, and ensure business needs are translated into clear and actionable system requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate meetings and discussions with business users and stakeholders
  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements
  • Develop use cases, business workflows, UI mockups, and business process documentation
  • Participate in SDLC activities including requirements analysis, testing, and validation
  • Perform SQL querying for data extraction, reporting, and validation purposes
  • Conduct unit testing, regression testing, functional testing, and validation activities
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and issue tracking activities
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers, and technical teams to support solution delivery
  • Maintain project documentation, requirements, and artifacts within SharePoint
  • Support reporting, documentation updates, and business process improvements


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with developers, business teams, and project managers on deliverables
  • Support executive reporting and project communication requirements
  • Assist with training activities, stakeholder communication, and knowledge transfer
  • Maintain documentation standards and ensure project artifacts remain updated
  • Participate in enterprise process improvement and system support activities


Required Skills:

  • Strong business analysis and requirements gathering experience
  • Strong SQL querying and data validation experience
  • Experience supporting SDLC methodologies and project lifecycle activities
  • Experience with SharePoint documentation and collaboration tools
  • Strong testing experience including functional, regression, and UAT testing
  • Experience documenting business rules, use cases, and UI mockups
  • Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration capabilities
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills


Qualifications:

  • Government or justice system experience preferred
  • Strong business analysis, documentation, and testing expertise preferred
  • Must complete background verification and annual ITS/OER training requirements
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills preferred


Education:

  • Bachelors Degree required
