Position requires experience implementing Fabric's Medallion architecture, row-level security, pipelines, dataflows, semantic models. Architect and implement Azure Active Directory (AAD) security and deliver access control for analytics/Power BI environments using row‑level security. Experience using Oracle 19c PL/SQL, SQL Server 19.1 or higher.

Required Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Associate's degree with 10 years of Application Development experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, Power BI Platform, Excel, Word, Outlook, Sharepoint, etc.
Significant knowledge of relational databases
Ability to create packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, tables, views, etc.
Ability to analyze business requirements and systems to design effective automated solutions
Ability to work independently, within a team and/or as an effective team lead to achieve results and meet deadlines
Ability to apply effective oral and written skills to communicate with user and technical audiences
Strong development skills and ability to reverse engineer source code
Ability to mentor and support lower-level employees

About The Department
IM&A provides data to our campus partners. We manage and maintain the data warehouse that houses Banner data. We manage and maintain college-level data marts in SQL Server, provide 14th day and end-of-term freeze events for State reporting and we provide point-in-time reporting, ad hoc, and dashboard reporting for our campus partners.
This position will work with a Senior Data Analyst to convert our existing Argos reporting platform to Power BI, architect and secure Azure data lakes for Power BI reporting, use Github for deployment and version control.
Other responsibilities include:
Lead analysis and problem-solving efforts.
Create new and modify existing database objects, analyze queries and perform tuning.
Provide technical guidance and assistance to other staff members in my group, department, and campus user community.
Assist in setting direction for the growth and maintenance of the campus data warehouse
Develop procedures for loading data from enterprise systems into the campus data warehouse.
Create packages, stored procedures, tables views, etc. to extract, transfer and load data into the campus data warehouse, Power BI, and data marts from Oracle and SQL Server.
Design/Develop new programs/subsystems as directed by management within the parameters of UT standards and OIT group standards. This can include but is not limited to views, tables, programs, systems, data bases, security, and complex SQL code.
