Senior Software Analytics Developer

• Ability to architect and provide solutions for analytics built on 'Big Data'. Familiar with common analytics tools and solutions (Hadoop/MapReduce, Spark, Tableau integration, ETL, Pig, Hive, etc)
• Proven ability to integrate Big Data, analytics and BI solutions.
• An understanding of how to architect and build 'Big Data' applications based on commonly used tools and frameworks (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch etc.).
• Strong foundation in UI and proven ability to build complex Web 2.0 based applications in a cloud deployment. 
• Hands-on familiarity with programming languages like Java and experience with shell scripting.
• Experience working in SaaS environment.
• Proven ability in writing REST based server side handlers. 
• Familiarity with OpenSource tools and projects like Apache or Google projects.
• Good experience in understanding complex business cases and user flows in any business application. 
• Proven experience or strong desire to work in product development. 
• Must have excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. 
• Ability to work independently in an innovative and fast changing environment.

Experience Requirements:
• 5+ years total experience with Analytic based solutions and integration. 
• 3-5 years total experience with analytic solutions for BI integration, graphs, text and advanced data analytics, machine learning, etc.
• Architected and provided integration solutions with Big Data solutions and BI industry standard tools.
• 5-7 years total experience; At least 3-5 years' experience in Web 2.0 application development using Java. 
• Must have at least 2 years' experience in developing applications for the SaaS offerings. 
• At least 2 years hands on experience with JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, JQuery; Only JSP/Servlets with Struts and HTML is NOT sufficient.
