Job Description
Job Title: Senior Software Design Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Northridge, CA
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $60-65.00/hr. on W2
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Technical field + 4+ years relevant experience, OR Advanced degree + 2+ years.
- Medical device industry experience supporting embedded firmware/software development in a Quality role.
- Strong knowledge of:
- IEC 62304
- ISO 13485
- ISO 14971
- FDA QMSR
- Experience with software design controls, risk management, and change control.
- Experience leading SW FMEA and system hazard analysis.
- Experience reviewing software requirements, design documents, code reviews, and V&V documentation.
- Strong technical writing, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
