JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise‑level software solutions. This role focuses on translating customer requirements into clear technical specifications, building new features, and supporting the development of advanced capabilities across the product suite. The position involves creating custom solutions that automate internal controls, compliance workflows, and data governance processes for large organizations.
The developer will participate in pilot projects, proof‑of‑concepts, and full enterprise deployments, providing technical expertise and helping resolve complex implementation challenges. Responsibilities include researching and implementing new functionality, configuring solutions to meet defined standards, producing documentation and training materials, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure compatibility across system components.
This role requires strong experience in enterprise software development, object‑oriented programming, data modeling, and working within complex system architectures. Familiarity with SAP development concepts such as ABAP, data dictionaries, shared memory, and core business modules is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Support creation of next-generation data protection and entitlement manager products.
- Design specifications for product functionality and customer requirements.
- Develop, configure, and implement solutions according to standards.
- Automate internal controls, compliance, and data governance requirements for SAP by designing solutions.
- Provide in-depth technical knowledge during pilots, proofs of concept, enterprise deployments, and evaluation of complex problems.
- Create training and end-user documentation.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure compatibility with other components.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven software development experience.
- Experience with data protection and entitlement management.
- Strong understanding of SAP systems and customer solution implementation.
- Ability to translate requirements into specifications and working solutions.
- Technical consulting / customer implementation experience is relevant.
