Senior Software Developer - Scrum Master

Responsibilities: between hands-on software engineering and Agile team leadership, supporting the development of cloud-native applications while facilitating Scrum ceremonies and driving SAFe Agile delivery. Responsibilities for the Senior Software Developer - Scrum Master include: Design, develop, test, review, deploy, and maintain production-quality Java-based cloud-native microservices and APIs Serve as Scrum Master for an Agile development team, facilitating sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and PI planning activities Collaborate with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and cross-functional teams to manage dependencies, resolve blockers, and ensure successful delivery outcomes Support DevSecOps initiatives through CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, and modern software development best practices Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance complex distributed systems operating in highly regulated, mission-critical environments Required Qualifications for the Senior Software Developer - Scrum Master include: 8+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience); Master's degree with 6+ years also considered 5+ years of experience developing, testing, and supporting production Java applications 2+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master within a SAFe Agile environment Strong experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, RESTful APIs, microservices, JSON, XML, and XSD Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Git, Linux, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices Experience with frontend technologies including React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Qualifications: for the Senior Software Developer - Scrum Master include: 8+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience); Master's degree with 6+ years also considered 5+ years of experience developing, testing, and supporting production Java applications 2+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master within a SAFe Agile environment Strong experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, RESTful APIs, microservices, JSON, XML, and XSD Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Git, Linux, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices Experience with frontend technologies including React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Compensation: for the Senior Software Developer - Scrum Master include: Salary Range: Up to $140.50/hour depending on experience Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick Leave as required by law #LI-JB1
