Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Release Train Engineer (RTE)

Location:Hybrid (3 Days/Week) Bedminster, NJ

Tax Term:W2

Job Type:Contract

Duration:11 Months

Job Description / Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate PI (Program Increment) Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
Coordinate cross-functional Agile teams and manage dependencies.
Track program risks, issues, and impediments, ensuring timely resolution.
Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile teams on SAFe best practices.
Monitor ART performance using Agile metrics (velocity, predictability, burn-up/down, flow metrics).
Collaborate with Product Management, Architects, and Business Owners to align delivery with business goals.
Drive continuous improvement across teams and processes.
Prepare program status reports and communicate progress to leadership.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Agile Project/Program Management.
Strong experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) in SAFe environments.
Hands-on experience facilitating PI Planning and ART ceremonies.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools.
Excellent stakeholder communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
SAFe RTE or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification is preferred.
Experience with Azure/AWS, DevOps, and CI/CD is a plus.
