Job Description
Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for their Concord, CA/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices applications
- Drive technical solutions from architecture through deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams
- Champion best practices in software engineering, CI/CD, and cloud-native development
- Lead engineering initiatives and mentor team members as needed
Requirements:
- 10-12 years of software development experience
- Strong expertise in Java 17 and Spring Boot microservices
- Hands-on experience with Java 8+, J2EE, JUnit, SOAP & REST Web Services
- Experience with Kubernetes; React.js exposure is a plus
- Proficiency with CI/CD and DevOps tools including GitHub, Jenkins, UrbanCode Deploy, and/or Harness
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira
- Self-motivated professional capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Passion for continuous learning and modern engineering practices
- Proven ability to lead design, development, and end-to-end delivery of enterprise applications
