As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key member of the Google Thread Border Router team, focusing on design and development of the device-side Connectivity stack and Software Development Kit (SDK). You will leverage your experience in embedded systems, operating systems, and connectivity stacks for Wi-Fi, Thread, etc., to contribute heavily towards the design and development of the SDK and other solutions. You will work closely with various software and hardware teams towards a successful and scalable implementation of the SDK.
The Google Home team focuses on hardware, software and services offerings for the home, ranging from thermostats to smart displays. The Home team researches, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make users’ homes more helpful. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
