Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Terraform, and Jenkins, with experience developing cloud-native microservices and participating across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Java applications and microservices.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrations using Java, Spring Boot, REST, and JSON.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
• Develop and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and application monitoring.
• Apply software engineering best practices, security standards, and automated testing.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Support production deployments, resolve application issues, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional Java software development experience.
• Strong experience with Java 8/11/17, object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Hands-on experience developing Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with AWS, including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Experience developing and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Git and modern source-control practices.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with automated testing using JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, or other messaging technologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar monitoring and logging tools.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and cloud security practices.
• AWS certification such as Developer Associate or Solutions Architect.
