The Senior Software Engineer will join the Growth Lifecycle Engineering team, responsible for orchestrating customer flow and integrating backend services during signups for streaming services like Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu.
They will design and implement tier-1 microservices in Java and/or Scala, develop asynchronous cloud processes, and contribute to technical design and architecture.
The role involves participating in Agile processes, code reviews, on-call support, and delivering end-to-end features with high quality.
Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of backend development experience, a degree in Computer Science or related field, and proven Java expertise.
Preferred skills include cloud experience, database knowledge, and familiarity with object-oriented languages and server-side development.
