Senior Software Engineer
West Palm Beach Area, FL (hybrid)

A fast-growing healthcare technology company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build a cutting-edge health diagnostics platform focused on delivering predictive, personalized insights through advanced data and cloud technologies.
This role will focus on developing and maintaining mission-critical cloud applications and scalable backend systems that support innovative health and analytics solutions.
The Senior Software Engineer is a full-stack, highly hands-on role that leans heavily on back-end development. This individual will play a key role in building and scaling core systems while contributing to architecture and technical design.
This is not a management role—it's ideal for someone who enjoys coding daily while also mentoring others and influencing technical direction. You will work closely with the Lead Software Architect and other cross-functional teams. The role includes:

  • Designing and building APIs and backend services
  • Working with large datasets and collaborating with data scientists
  • Contributing to system architecture and scalable design
  • Performing code reviews and mentoring junior engineers
  • Participating in a wide range of greenfield projects
Given the early-stage nature of the product (pre-full public launch), engineers will work across evolving priorities, making this a strong fit for someone who thrives in dynamic, build-from-scratch environments.

Key Qualifications
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong backend development skills, ideally in Python (C#/.NET is a plus), but Python is a must-have
  • Experience building APIs and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
  • Cloud experience (AWS preferred, as they recently moved from Azure to AWS)
  • Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments required
  • Strong system design and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to mentor and collaborate effectively
Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.
