What You Will Do
Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Python to support legal research applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions for data processing.
Analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize existing workflows.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices.
Work closely with product managers to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on software development methodologies.
Ideal Candidate Background
2+ years of experience in backend software engineering, specifically with Python.
Proven track record of developing scalable applications and working with data-intensive systems.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
Preferred
Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in legal contexts.
Experience working in a venture-backed startup environment.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and services, enhancing deployment and scalability.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $170K to $240K, complemented by equity options between 0.1% and 0.5%. This company offers a collaborative environment where innovation is encouraged, and your contributions will directly impact the future of legal technology.
