What You Will Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable software systems that support a high-demand marketplace connecting businesses with workers.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and operations, to deliver impactful features that enhance user and business outcomes.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code that adheres to both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to continuously elevate the engineering standards.
• Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, reliability issues, and technical debt.
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture that emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience in a production environment.
• Proven track record of taking ownership of features or systems from design through deployment.
• Strong fundamentals in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Experience in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering team where quality and speed are prioritized.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and contribute to technical decisions with minimal oversight.
• Genuine interest in the intersection of technology, operations, and workforce solutions.

Preferred

• Experience with React Native and Python.
• Background in big tech companies transitioning to startups.
• A degree in computer science from a top-tier institution.

Compensation and Benefits
