Develop cloud-scale software for delivering a media systems portfolio on-prem and AWS applications. Monitor media workflows for the timely delivery of content to endpoints. Run incident and problem management efforts of the team. Utilize understanding of broad range of computer science and media supply chain concepts and dive deep into technical problems to offer solutions and suggestions for improvement. Lead by example in software design, coding, communication and documentation. Apply expertise to act as escalation point for support issues, lead the effort to resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis. Help implement observability solutions for proactive and predictable operations. Support object-oriented design, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis. Work closely with the product and engineering teams to understand business priorities. Communicate development progress through data and exhibit software development best practices in work completed. Work with global content operations and engineering teams to resolve application and content related issues. Monitor media workflows for the timely delivery of content to endpoints. Run incident and problem management efforts of the team. Act as an escalation point for support issues, lead the effort to resolve incidents, and perform root cause analysis. Help implement observability solutions for proactive and predictable operations. Hybrid work permitted 2 days per week within a reasonable commuting distance of New York, New York Office.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years of experience as a Technical Manager, Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Member Technical Staff, or related role where experience was gained.
