    Description

    JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer (Oracle HCM)
    EMPLOYMENT TYPE: 12 Months Contract
    LOCATION DETAILS: Remote

    USC/GC.
    Qualifications:
    • CSS HR IT Preferred Qualifications
    • Highly experienced Oracle HCM Developer using the following tools: HDLs/PBLs, Fast Formulas, UDTs
    • Functional knowledge and support experience for HCM applications in Core HR and Workforce Compensation
    • Functional knowledge and support of Applicant Tracking Systems
    • Experience with Agile software development and test-driven development. Strong knowledge of software development languages: Java, JavaScript, .NET, HTML, Informatica, Boomi/Apigee
    • Able to act as a guide to junior members of the team, overseeing their work
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Strong knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases such as Oracle
    • Demonstrated strong teamwork skills with self-motivation to achieve success in a rapidly evolving environment.
    • Excellent communications skills. Able to effectively communicate highly technical information in nontechnical terminology (written and verbal)
    • Self-motivated to meet critical project milestones and deadlines.
    • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and design specifications. Develops business acumen.

    Roles & Responsibilities
    Primary Support
    • Establish/own relationship with business users and vendors, including planning for future product directions/enhancements
    • Initial triage for Non-SPP supported incidents (SPP Supported Apps) unless out of the office
    • In the case of a critical/major incident, own the coordination with all necessary parties to resolve the issue. Ensure Critical Incident Procedure (CIP) steps are followed (include comments on hands-offs and continued coverage to resolution)
    • Own and update problem tickets for their functional area including creating CIC deck when needed Document, communicate and facilitate permanent resolution for recurring non-critical incidents Establish and facilitate recurring touchpoint for functional area with business users
    • Act as first level of support and provide guidance to development team when reaching out to HRST with questions Proactively bring up issues and remediation plans with business users/vendors (culture of no surprise)
    • · Establish procedures for continued health of the system including building processes and procedures to reduce incidents in application
    • Ensure that application patches, updates, passwords etc. are being appropriately reviewed
    • Manage application documents including creating and/or reviewing functional/technical design documents. Review documents with HRST and upload to accessible location as needed
    • IT SME during projects – provide input to RFPs, development and/or design responsibilities as assigned, help locate documents, describe as-is state, review, approve documents & transfer documents to operations folder etc. Manage & own security i.e. AD Groups, Sail Point entitlements etc.
    • Secondary Support
    • Backup primary support owner as necessary/assigned
    • Familiarity with the application to provide continued support in the absence of primary support individual
    • Maintain relationship with stakeholders as necessary
    • Assist in scheduling or coordinating meeting in conjunction with primary support individual
