Role Overview:

Our client is currently using an older tech stack with a customer portal built in .NET and VB.NET. The goal is to migrate to a new modern architecture, starting with an analytics platform built using React. The new platform will provide interactive dashboards for customers to visualize key data. The front end will be the most significant part of the project. The developer will need to build the front end and handle database work, ensuring a modern and user-friendly experience. The ultimate goal is to replace the existing customer portal with the new React-based platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable software applications with a strong emphasis on front-end development using React, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Develop innovative products to improve user experience, enhance customer operations and compliance, and deliver cutting-edge solutions using technologies like AI and machine learning.
• Build and maintain intuitive front-end interfaces and robust APIs to meet evolving business needs.
• Lead modernization and migration efforts to transform legacy systems into modern, scalable architectures while maintaining data integrity and minimal downtime.
• Optimize database performance, enhance data structures, and ensure efficient handling of large datasets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, employing systematic problem-solving methodologies to maintain high-quality software.

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with strong expertise in React and front-end technologies.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs, front-end interfaces, and database-driven back-end services.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable architectures and modernizing legacy systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), and automated testing.
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, with experience integrating AI-driven features into applications preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design maintainable, secure, and efficient solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
