Job Title: Senior Software Engineer - (Sr Salesforce CPQ Developer)
Location(s): Atlanta, GA
(Hybrid: 3 days per week onsite)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce CPQ Developer with strong expertise in Salesforce Lightning, Apex, and Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solutions. The ideal candidate will contribute to an ongoing platform transition from Salesforce CPQ to Logik.ai, supporting requirements analysis, configuration mapping, development, and testing.
The role involves hands-on coding within an Agile team, developing scalable Salesforce solutions, maintaining CPQ functionality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are essential.
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into well-designed Salesforce solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Lead technical design activities and document technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce applications, custom solutions, and system integrations.
- Design and develop interfaces between Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce components, and Lightning applications.
- Apply Apex best practices, including design patterns, bulk processing, asynchronous operations, governor limits, and unit testing.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce CPQ product catalogs, pricing rules, product rules, bundle logic, approval workflows, and quote templates.
- Support the migration from Salesforce CPQ to Logik.ai through requirements analysis, configuration mapping, development, and testing.
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales, and Finance teams to translate quoting requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure solution quality and reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and follow established coding standards and software development best practices.
- Estimate development effort across requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure the delivery of maintainable, high-quality code.
- Work within an Agile development environment and contribute to iterative software delivery.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in technical interviews as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of relevant software development experience, with strong Salesforce development expertise.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, Apex, and Lightning development.
- Experience developing Salesforce applications, custom components, classes, and triggers.
- Knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, governor limits, bulk processing, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience configuring CPQ products, pricing rules, bundles, and quote templates.
- Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, database design, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Must be authorized to work without H-1B sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud (CRM).
- Experience with Salesforce administration and configuration.
- Familiarity with Visualforce, JavaScript, jQuery, or other JavaScript libraries.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs, metadata services, ETL tools, and third-party integration platforms.
- Experience integrating Salesforce CPQ with ERP, billing, order management, or other downstream systems.
- Exposure to ServiceNow development or administration.
- Familiarity with Logik.ai or CPQ platform migration projects.
- Experience working in Agile development teams and delivering solutions through iterative development.
Work Arrangement
- Interview Process: First round virtual; second round onsite.
- Interview Requirements: Candidates must be local to participate in the interview process.
- Employment Type: Contract position with potential for full-time conversion.
- Work Environment: Hands-on development role focused on coding and platform transition activities; not a client-facing position.
- Assessment: The interview process includes a technical case study or use-case exercise.
