The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Software Engineering Operations Coordinator to focus on supporting our Boeing Global Services (BGS) organization located in Hazelwood, Missouri, Mesa, Arizona, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Long Beach, California, Huntington Beach, California, or Jacksonville, Florida.

This role partners closely with BGS Software Leadership, BGS Engineering Skill Leadership, BGS Workforce Strategy, and Enterprise Software Skill Leadership teams to help develop, implement, and manage processes that support software engineering talent growth, staffing alignment, and investment planning.

The dedicated professional will play a central role in coordinating and advancing critical software engineering operations within a leading aerospace services organization. The Senior Software Engineering Operations Coordinator will serve as a vital link between software leadership, skill development teams, and workforce strategy partners, driving processes that enable talent growth, staffing alignment, and strategic investment planning.

This position offers the chance to influence the development of organizational skill inventories, oversee technical recognition and workforce review cycles, and support early career initiatives, ensuring a robust and agile software engineering workforce. With a focus on collaboration and precision, this role delivers essential coordination that maximizes operational efficiency and aligns workforce capabilities with evolving business goals, making a significant impact on the future of Boeing's software engineering excellence.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate software engineering skill leadership and workforce planning processes

  • Track and support workforce planning tools and related coordination across the organization

  • Coordinate organizational staffing plans, inputs, and related processes

  • Support software engineering talent processes and recurring review cycles

  • Coordinate BDE, TLE, and Technical Fellow cycles and related approval activities

  • Support intern and early career planning activities

  • Coordinate investment planning, status tracking, and related communication processes

  • Partner with BGS and enterprise stakeholders to align software skill strategy with workforce needs and organizational goals

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor Degree

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship

  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships / partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and cross-functional teams

  • 5+ years of experience providing business analyst support for an organization's strategic planning efforts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working in a software engineering organization

  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide or multi-organizational coordination

  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • Experience communicating process requirements, timelines, and status updates to stakeholders

  • Experience in workforce planning, staffing coordination, skill leadership, talent programs, or related functional coordination

  • Experience supporting engineering or technical talent processes

  • Experience with skill leadership, technical recognition, or organizational governance processes

  • Experience partnering with workforce strategy, staffing, and HR organizations

  • Familiarity with Adaptive Planning, LRBP, or similar workforce planning tools/processes

  • Familiarity with Boeing skill leadership frameworks, including BDE, TLE, TF, and SJC processes

Summary Pay Range Senior (Level 4): $102,000 - $138,000
