Senior Solution Architect – I&D (Data Architecture)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect – I&D to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms and architecture. This role is responsible for defining end-to-end data solutions that transform complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing data ecosystems. The ideal candidate has extensive experience across the complete data lifecycle, including data ingestion, storage, transformation, analytics, and visualization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures, including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Lakehouse solutions.
• Define enterprise data architecture standards and best practices to support current and future business needs.
• Develop and oversee ETL/ELT strategies to enable seamless integration of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement modern data technologies and platforms based on business requirements, scalability, performance, and cost considerations.
• Establish and enforce data governance, data quality, security, and privacy frameworks, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout the software and data development lifecycle.
• Build and optimize data platforms that support Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Business Intelligence (BI), and advanced analytics workloads.
• Drive performance optimization, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence across enterprise data platforms.
• Mentor engineering teams and promote architecture best practices across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 5 years focused on Data Architecture or Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform:
  • AWS
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Expertise in designing enterprise data architectures using Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Lakehouse concepts.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases with experience in data modeling methodologies such as:
  • Star Schema
  • Snowflake Schema
  • Lambda Architecture
  • Kappa Architecture
• Experience with distributed data processing technologies including:
  • Apache Spark
  • Hadoop
  • Kafka
• Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data integration tools.
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, data quality, security, encryption, and access control.
• Experience supporting AI/ML and Business Intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Glue, Azure Synapse, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps practices for data platforms.
• Experience implementing enterprise-scale data modernization initiatives.
• Relevant cloud or data architecture certifications are a plus.
