Job Summary

• Support Vizient’s Strategic Growth Engineering organization as a hands-on Senior Solutions Architect.
• Design and deliver end-to-end, cloud-native solutions across:
  • Data platforms
  • Full-stack applications
  • AI-enabled capabilities
• Work across the full technology stack, including:
  • Angular front-end
  • .NET-based services
  • Databricks data platforms
  • Azure cloud infrastructure
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
• Enable AI-driven experiences using:
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Databricks Genie
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Partner with Engineering, Product, CloudOps, Security, and IT teams.
• Maintain a strong hands-on practitioner approach by building, prototyping, and guiding implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end solution architectures spanning:

• Act as a hands-on architect by contributing:

• Architect and implement modern full-stack applications.
• Ensure seamless integration between UI, services, and data platforms.
• Lead data and analytics solution design using Databricks.
• Design and implement:
  • Data pipelines
  • Lakehouse architectures
  • Application and data platform integrations
• Design and integrate AI-enabled solutions using:
  • RAG patterns
  • Databricks Genie
  • Conversational data interfaces
  • Secure LLM integrations
• Build reusable frameworks, shared services, and integration patterns.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, CloudOps, and Security teams.
• Embed security, reliability, and governance into solution designs.
• Lead architecture and technical design sessions.
• Provide clear technical direction and influence stakeholder decisions.
• Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements for:

• Support compliance requirements including:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Systems
  • Related field
  • Equivalent experience accepted
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of architecture or senior design experience.
• Proven experience as a hands-on Solutions Architect in enterprise cloud-native environments.
• Strong full-stack development experience.
