Job Title: Media Domain Expert Consultant
Work Mode: Remote
Job Description
The Media Domain Expert Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to Media Entertainment clients combining deep industry expertise with strong consulting and technology acumen The role focuses on strategic transformation across content supply chains platforms and monetization models with a strong emphasis on Quality of Experience QoE for end consumers across devices and platforms
Key Responsibilities
Domain Leadership Advisory
Act as the primary media subject matter expert across studios broadcasters cable networks streaming platforms SVOD/ AVOD/ FAST sports and digital media organizations
Advise clients on industry trends evolving business models and consumer experience expectations including DTC strategies advertising models and platform optimization
Provide strategic guidance on content lifecycle and experience quality spanning ingestion production distribution playback and consumption
Quality of Experience QoE Expertise
Lead advisory discussions on end-to-end Quality of Experience QoE across linear TV OTT and digital platforms
Deep understanding of QoE dimensions including
Video and audio quality bitrate latency buffering startup time
Stream reliability availability and playback performance
Device fragmentation and platform compatibility
Customer experience metrics QoE QoS MOS engagement churn signals
Advise on monitoring analytics and remediation strategies for QoE issues across live VOD and FAST services
Work with data and platform teams to translate QoE insights into actionable improvements for customer satisfaction retention and monetization
Solution Design Consulting
Collaborate with technology and delivery teams to design mediacentric solutions spanning cloud data AIML MAMDAM streaming platforms and monitoring tools
Shape transformation roadmaps that balance scale cost performance and experience quality
Guide modernization initiatives across production postproduction broadcast OTT and digital ecosystems with QoE as a core success metric
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders Director VP Clevel
Lead executive level discussions on platform performance customer experience and strategic priorities
Thought Leadership Practice Building
Mentor consultants and help build internal Media Entertainment Center of Excellence with QoE best practices and frameworks
Required Skills Expertise
Media QoE Domain Expertise
Strong understanding of the Media Entertainment value chain
Proven experience with
OTT DTC platforms and streaming economics
Ad supported and subscription models
QoE, QoS monitoring analytics and optimization
Live and VOD streaming performance challenges
Content distribution rights windowing and compliance
Consulting Communication
Ability to connect QoE metrics to business outcomes
Strong executive communication storytelling and presentation skills
Prior experience in consulting advisory or strategic media roles
Technology Awareness
Working knowledge of
Cloud platforms AWSGCP
Streaming architectures and playback ecosystems
Media asset management MAMDAM
Data platforms and AIML applications in media recommendations metadata QoE analytics
Skills
Mandatory Skills : E2E Media Supply Chain, OTT Functional Capability
